Just as registration was closing for the New Americans Book Fair in Columbus, Ohio, Tobi Adewusi, author of Becoming Britico: An Immigrant’s Story of Survival swung into action to be part of the event holding on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at the Columbus Metropolitan Library, 5590 Karl Road, Columbus, Ohio beginning at 12pm. She became the first international author to register for the book fair.

With families frantically emigrating to ‘greener pastures’ outside their home countries, Becoming Britico explores faith’s journey into the United Kingdom from the main character’s home country of Nigeria. Faced with challenges, will she come out triumphant?
