Why are You a Target of Workplace Bullying brings an unfiltered no-nonsense approach to surviving workplace bullying. Bullying within the workplace is a modern-day equivalency to bullying on the playground. From the playground to the boardroom, bullying happens in all social settings across the globe. As employees, we want organizations to take the necessary measures for a civil work environment; this is not always so! Workplace bullying affects the mental and physical health of the target. Bullied employees cannot perform their job to their full potential. The impacts of workplace bullying do not end with your work shift. My experiences have compelled me to talk and write about workplace bullying. If you have been a target or bystander to workplace bullying, you are not alone! As dynamic and unique individuals, we need the space to be our authentic selves without consequence. In other words, no one should have to retreat at the foot of another’s increase.
