At 10 years old, Davis Oni is already exploring the literary world with his book, Adventures of Jéjé which will be on display at the New Americans Book Fair on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at the Columbus Metropolitan Library, 5590 Karl Road, Columbus, Ohio beginning at 12pm.
Inspired after reading African-themed stories from “Rubies Africa,” an app his mom created for short African stories, Davis Oni allowed the “adventure to begin” with his first series, “Adventures of Jéjé,”
The Children’s, Fiction, Adventure book shows the main character Jeje, meaning ‘easy” in Yoruba language of Nigeria having his curiosity turns his life into a big adventure.
Davis is creative and loves adventures, so he decided to use his writing skills to take his readers on a journey filled with thrills and action.
When Davis is not writing, he is playing basketball or video games with his brothers and friends.
Davis Oni will be reading excerpts from his book and be happy to autograph copies as well.
